Strong Foundations: Building Your Path to Success After High School

THE STRONG FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM GIVES HIGH SCHOOL GRADS A SOLID, SUPPORTIVE, AFFORDABLE BASE ON WHICH TO BUILD THEIR DREAMS 

Are you a high school graduate who’s not convinced college, a great career, and a successful future is going to happen? Maybe you’ve been out of high school for a while and aren’t sure how to get started. Maybe your academic skills are rusty. You’re not alone. MCC has an affordable program developed to help students just like you!  
The only cost to students enrolled in MCC’s STRONG FOUNDATIONS program is a $75 transportation fee. You won't pay for books, tuition, and other college fees. 

STRONG FOUNDATIONS is a 15-week program developed for students who have already earned a high school diploma but know they could benefit from an intensive learning experience to help prepare them for college-level study.  

As a student participating in MCC’s STRONG FOUNDATIONS program, you’ll take one non-credit, developmental math and English course at the Brighton or Downtown Campus. This course will give you the groundwork and the academic skills you need to enroll in one of our certificate or career programs.

You can also access free financial aid guidance at MCC when you’re ready to begin college credit courses. And you won’t be doing this all on your own. MCC provides the kind of support that can help you redefine a future that matches your skills and abilities as well as your dreams!
